OBJECTIVES OF STRCS

1. The primary objective of STRCs shall be to build capacities of TI project functionaries to ensure qualitative improvement in their functioning to achieve the objective of prevention of new HIV infections among HRGs and bridge population.

2. Ensuring need based quality training of TIs as per NACP III’s technical and operational guidelines.

3. Development of local resources like facilitators for training, demonstration sites to ensure that the skill development process is sustained.

4. Enhancing the capacity of NGOs and civil society organizations in proposal development for NACP funded targeted intervention projects.

5. Undertaking operational research and learning site development.
