Academic Committee STRC to constitute an Academic Committee of not more than 10‐12 persons consisting of academicians (who have wide experience of training in professional institutions), trainers (experts who are fully conversant with the methodology of teaching and pedagogy and can add value to the trainings conducted by STRC), representatives from established NGOs imparting training at grass root level (in any sector) , social workers, representatives of the community from HRGs, TI partners and one representative of SACS. The tasks of the Academic Committee will be to:- Identify, in order of priority, the categories of personal to be trained during the year. Review the content, methodology and duration of the training. Identify best practice sites for field visits and resource persons as required Approve the Annual Work Plan with budget. Review the implementation of the work plan every quarter and work done by the Project faculty The committee should meet at least three times in a year � During 1st month of contract period for development and approval of the annual work plan to be incorporated in the AAP of the SACS � During 2nd month of 2nd quarter to review the work conducted by STRCs as per the approved annual work plan and undertake mid-term corrective action, if any. � During 2nd month of 3rd quarter for evaluation of trainings so far conducted and proposed next step �Conduct performance appraisal of the staffs and recommend for remedial action. �STRC in consultation with the members of the Academic Committee will identify, orient and use local resource persons in different parts of its operational area .
