The Health and Family Welfare Training Centre (HFWTC) at GIRH & FWT established since 1966 is one of the 47 such training centres in the country. It trains health and health related functionaries working in Government Primary Health Centres (PHCs), corporation/municipalities, Tamil Nadu Integrated Nutrition Projects and NGOs and offers induction, refresher and orientation training
